Jesus came to set the captives free. I
once heard the testimony of a Christian woman who went to a prison to
go and minister to the inmates. But there she met a man who was free,
he was full of joy, peace and happiness. He had something inside of
him that she did not have, even though he was in prison. And she
said:”Lord, what is it that that man has got, I want it!” It is
the peace of Jesus! He was in a prison for his crime but in that
prison he met Jesus and he became free.
Jesus came to set us free, free from
fear, bondage, addiction, free from the fear of death. He came to
give us LIFE and we all need that life. Jesus loved you and me even
before there was any thought of us, before we were born and He is the
only One who can truly give us peace, joy and happiness. He will set
you absolutely free from whatever your bondage is, your insecurity,
your unhappiness. You just need to go to Him, to call on Him!
Jesus said:”Without Me, you can do
nothing.” Without Jesus we can do nothing. There is an old song
that says:”Without Him I would be nothing, Without Him I would
surely fail, Without Him I would be drifting, Like a ship without a
sail.” And that is so true. There is only One who can help you and
there is only One who can give you peace and joy, happiness, that is
Jesus!
Go to Him today. Call out to Him,
say:”Lord, help me please!” and stay with Him! Stay with Him and
you will enjoy THAT PEACE. Seek Him, seek His approval, obey Him and
He will give you peace that passes all understanding. He will set you
absolutely free. Those whom the Son of God has set free will be free
and free indeed. Go to Jesus, call out to Him now. Say:”Lord, I
can't handle this any more. Please help me!” He is waiting for you
because He loves you and He cares for you!
